Anglers were treated to a beautiful day on the river today and it sounds as though the fish cooperated. Reports of a few large females caught pitching and several boats with limits of 16 to 18″ Walleyes and Sauger.
Advice from the fisherman….fish slooooow! Dragging plastics , dubuque rigs and live bait upstream seems to be the common response. Depth doesn’t seem to matter but a defined current seam is a must.
Thanks to all who came down today. Launching, parking etc was very smooth.

Bait has been delivered to Everts.

Thanks fer da report. I’ll be up in the morning, before the chaos begins (I hope). I’ve got homemade tartar sauce & nothing but Van De Kamps (cod rods) in the deep freeze.
