Sorry I have not remained very current with reports from the Red Wing Area. I will try to keep them up to date for the next several weeks.

There are a lot fish in the river right now. From the head of the lake all the way to the dam we are seeing the best numbers we have seen in several years. Walleyes and Saugers with a few big fish starting to show up.

The bite has been mainly trolling or 3 way rigging although it seems to have turned over to a plastic or live bait bite over the weekend. I would expect plastics, hair jigs and blades to take over very shortly. Basically, however you like to fish you will catch fish. Good luck and see you on the water.

If 58 trips equals 58 years that is legendary!

52 degrees and the dam in Hastings. Saw 52 degrees also a few places on Saturday in Red Wing.

Not 58 years, 16 years…I’ve led 58 trips since 2000…Several years there were 4-5 trips per season…Spring and Fall.

Tom’s cooking at Everts IS legendary along with his breaking out and singing at the Bluff’s Bar and Grill followed by applause. toast
