    Brian…..Is that permit valid at other Wisconsin border water locations where a fee is charged? Thinking Alma here.

    No, it’s a Pierce County park pass. The back channel is the only ramp.

    But there is a shooting range at one of the parks!

    Shooting range? As in 100, 200 yard targets stuff for big bores and muzzies? If so I may have to get one of those passes so you and I can make some noise this summer.

    I’d love to get one but I don’t think hanging an annual park pass (or more than one) on my work truck would be a good idea. I need to find a way to make it stealthy. I wonder if it counts if I put it on my boat trailer.

    That’d get me into Nugget Lake, to, so I could observe the barren, desolate subsurface goings on in that lake.

    Which Pierce County Park has the shooting range? Is that the range north of Ellsworth?

    Hmmm… I did not know Nugget had a range. I’ll check that out.

    There isn’t a need to put a sticker on your window. Just prop the receipt up so it can be read.

    Photos are of a cheap window sticker and the park receipt.

    Get one and laminate it. Then put it on a lanyard like you put around your neck and hang it from the trucks rear view mirror.

    Not sure if that will work, I think it has to be fixed to a vehicle so one pass doesn’t become a multiple vehicle pass.
