Got to play around pool 4 Friday , little breezy but still all good if you stayed in the sun. The dam seemed slow for me so I moved down the river into the bends and found 7-8/walleye biggest was 28″ right across from Everts at the green marker . I noticed the shiners top feeding and wereever I saw this I pucked up a fish or two .Mostly pitching a draggin jig tipped with a moxy . All in all nice to see it picking up

Ugh I was going to get out but ended up going into work for training. Heading out on Thursday and hope the bite is still going.
mojogunterPosts: 3313November 14, 2015 at 9:16 pm #1577215Bite was slow for me today.
Me too. One nice sauger and one little walleye.
mojogunterPosts: 3313November 14, 2015 at 10:46 pm #1577227I snagged a couple shad too. Reminded me of a tullabee with how oily and smelly they are.
Oh and I snagged a shad that was almost 8″. Very oily, no wonder those walleye grow so fast.
November 15, 2015 at 5:20 pm #1577300Besides huge shiner balls…the water has come up a foot since last weekend, which means faster flow with debris and dirty water, there are Walleye to be caught but you have to find and stay on them !
I have seen and heard of fisherman using blade baits, plastics, hair jig/minnow and pulling 3 ways.
By no means is pool 4 at it’s typical November temps. It was a tough spring, summer and fall thus far and until we get a cold snap and it stays I don’t see a great bite happening anytime soon like we are used to for November !

I think trumar is right. Challenging fall/temps too high.
Btw. Was there an accident on pool 4 today? Saw fire and sheriff boats rush up toward dam.
mojogunterPosts: 3313November 15, 2015 at 7:17 pm #1577331Anyone know who the A-hole in the tiller with the grumpy’s graphics wrap on it is? He needs a class in boat safety and etiquette. I saw him buzz countless boats at 30+ mph within 20′ yesterday. A couple looked like tiny boats that were tossed around pretty good. I could see easily a move like his could cause someone to fall in if they aren’t paying attention.

It is safe to say “it wasn’t because the bite was on fire” !
Hope all is ok , I haven’t heard anything , but will check
November 15, 2015 at 9:09 pm #1577349I sure hope this weeks cold temps help out, although the 1-2″ of rain sure won’t help water clarity at all. Give it another try next weekend.

There was also the guys throwing large wakes to pull the trolling motor out of the water by lifting up the front of the boat. Those caused a lot of us to manuver our boats to avoid getting thrown around. Overall I thought is was ok out there Saturday. Did you take a pic of the boat?
mojogunterPosts: 3313November 15, 2015 at 10:27 pm #1577363I did some checking and I guess he is a guide. Nice

Heard it had something to do with someone in the woods buts thats it so far.
November 16, 2015 at 7:06 am #1577390in the tiller with the grumpy’s graphics wrap on it is?
He was on ld3 Saturday.
I saw about the funniest 20 minute photo session with a few dink eyes in that boat. Hilarious.
Buckeye86InactivePosts: 95November 16, 2015 at 12:35 pm #1577483Ya the guy is a total tool. He’s not liked by many folks on the river. He doesn’t have any respect or regard for any other fisherman. The photo tricks he does is pretty hilarious to watch. Hopefully he’ll see this post and realize

mojogunterPosts: 3313November 16, 2015 at 5:15 pm #1577563His name is Josh Wetzstein. I don’t know him, and he may be a great guy. I do know his boat practices are borderline dangerous, and doesn’t appear to give crap about fellow boaters. Certainly not something a guide should be known for.
November 17, 2015 at 4:03 am #1577650Funny that same exact boat almost put his anchor through my bow of my boat this spring up by the dam. I guess he is more important then the rest of us.
