Spent the past few days fishing pool 4 with great friends and my son. We boated a great number of fish. Focused on trolling. Pulling number 5 jointed raps. I mainly fished 11 to 18 ft of water coming in an out of the break. Pulled the jointed raps around 2mph. Produced a big number of fish for us. Was a great weekend for sure.

Yes,…nice weekend to fish, actually passed on Saurday and went Siunday and Monday. Not overly crowded and the fish cooperating with steady but not fast action. We used bait with good luck in 8-11 fow. 3 ways and also orange jig/minnow worked mostly on sauger. Tried leeches and worms with the minnows doing the best. Walleyes seem scarce but did manage a 19 and a 23″. Beats fighting the traffic back down to the Cities today.
    Sorry no pictures.

Tony, fish tight to bottom, or suspended? Trolling 11-18 ft you had to have been using leadcore/weights to get to the bottom with #5 raps, unless you were marking (and catching) suspended fish higher in the water? FUN!

Actually running Power Pro line, out at 160 ft. Weaving in and out of the break line where it drops off say from 11 foot to up 20 plus.
