Spent the day on pool 4, majority of the time we were anchored up between Everts and the dam. I was trying to get into a couple sturgeon for my buddies, but we had a blast catching channel cats.
Action seemed to revolve around night crawlers, sometimes in combo with a couple minnows. Not much action on cut sucker today, a couple good strikes but no hookups.
Quite a few boats out there today, looked like most were going after walleye and saw several boats catching fish.
We caught channel and a walleye while tight lining; a shovel nose and drum on spinner rigs. This walleye was apparently more hungry than cautious, that’s an 8/0 circle hook!
