We are going to hit Redwing for the first time this year. Just been to busy to get out ugh…..

We have always been able to find walleyes if they are biting good. Are they? I have not seen any reports recently.

But really have not been able to find crappies ever. We have always done well for them in Alma but have not found many around Redwing.

Any reports or updates on the Crappies and walleyes would be great. We will be there on Tuesday.

Good luck fishing. Sounds like the tournament went well. Fish must be biting.

Tuesday should be a good day with the weather. frown

I don’t fish that area though. I’m no help.

River is still very high and flow is screaming down here.

Shoreline with steep dropping rip-rap should be good for crappies right now. Marinas can be good too, lots of forage in the marinas right now. On the rip-rap cast to the shallow top and swim the jig down to the bottom. Crappies on rip-rap will likely be from half way down to where the rock and muddy bottom merge. 1/16 to 1/8 ounce hair jigs or heads with plastics 1-1/2″ to 2″. In marinas check the pilings.
