The Iowa crew that stays at Everts had a good couple of days.

Two of them fished most of the day with 28 fish to show for it. Very few under four pounds.
Two others fish for two hours in the morning and then again in the afternoon for 2 hours with 12 fish that included a 16 pounder.
I don’t recall the exact number of the last two fisherman, but it was around the 12 mark as well.

They focused on the current seams South of the dam area using my favorite Stink Bait.

Sunday night I focused on the dam area in many old and new locations and ended up with one 12 pounder to show for it. Now that the rollers are up and out of the water it’s going to me a mess up there for a while.

Last night I ventured out for a couple hours for a boat side release of a two-three pound channel. I suck as a fisherman!

If you’re heading out for some channel cat action, I would recommend heading South of Everts.
