How late in the year would I be able to get a boat in to the water on pool 4?

Normally year round unless they shutdown the reactor or get a blast of really cold weather.

Pretty sure Everts will get you on the water all winter.

The WI Backchannel ramp is out of the current with docks.
Used by more and more fishermen each year.

There were 6 rigs parked there when I went by this morning.

Does anyone know if Baypoint is iced up yet, or still open?

It was iced and some people were fishing around the docks last week from what I heard. Can’t tell you know it currently is, however. WI backchannel ramp is your best bet by far.

I just went out of Evert’s last Thursday. Ramps are always clear and you get a report before you go out-PRICELESS! Won’t go anywhere else. Plus they have a great selection of lures and bait.

Bay Point is iced up not that I would walk out there yet.

They are catching panfish standing on the docks.

If your thinking about heading out, you might want to check out the bait and plastic prices at Runnings Farm and Fleet. It’s a block S and a block W of Liberties.

Don’t forget the Harbor Bar for lunch or a quick warm up. The bay is starting to shallow up but the docks are plenty deep yet. I believe they have $1 beers on Wednesdays. )

Thank you. We certainly do all we can at Everts to have the most up to date info on the river as well as our ramps clean and dry….salted.

Free beer and hot dogs at Harbor Bar 2:30-5pm to celebrate the opening of the new bridge tomorrow.

Ask for the low sodium hot dogs.

Yeah I caught a shark last weekend. Plenty of salt in the river.
