    Good day out there. Saw a lot of people catching fish. Almost exclusively sauger but some nice ones. I had 3 big females over 20” that crushed baits. Got a nice limit on jig and minnow with a few on plastics. Trailer hook really helped with a lot of short strikes. 20 to 24 feet seemed to be best but caught a few shallower.

    Lot of females with eggs in them….don’t want to preach but please toss them back.

    Everyone I talked to was catching fish but a lot of small ones. A little strange that there were almost no walleyes caught according to those I talked to. Boats seemed pretty spread out so I would’ve expected more diversity. Taste the same in the pan though!
