Good afternoon. Well we have been getting spoiled by the gorgeous weather the last few days. Here is what I have for a report:

The water has started to clear up and slowed down the mid day bite (high sun). That being said those who are getting on the water at first light and staying until the sun sets in the evening are being treated to some unbelievable bite windows. Very quick limits of nice fish.

Fish are coming on Hair Jigs, blades and plastics and each group will have success with something a little different. Fish those areas on the edge of the current seams in 18′ to 22′ of water. When you find a pod of fish, stick with them as long as you can.

I had two messages yesterday from guys who I had given a legitimate spot to and they were unable to catch a fish. All I can do is provide you somewhere to start and hope that you land on them right away. Keep moving until you find an active school and then shorten your drift down to stay on top of them until they are gone. Then go find another school.

I honestly don’t know if I could tell you any one bait or color. My best advice… use what you have confidence in!

    Thank you and good luck.

Please consider releasing any larger fish or egg laden females. Thank You

Same depths that have been working for me in p3.

Been choosing to catch them pitching blades. Completely agree on the bite windows!!!

Nice report. Really hoping to get down there this weekend for one last shot at it.

    fished 14 – 26 fow yesterday.
3 ways with a fathead minnow
spent 30 – 60 minutes on each spot lock.
    catch a few,
    when the size diminishes,
    move on.
14 of 20 fish caught were keepable,
nothing big enough to brag about, but some good eaters.
