Last time I launched at Hastings it was at the public launch and the current was swift and made it hard to bring the boat to the trailer. Is there better spots on Pool 3 to launch. I want to stay as far north as I can on pool 3 to save on drive time from Bloomington.
follow the road down to old town Hastings under the new bridge. There is a marina down there. Not sure the name of it. I do know it’s a fee to launch but just don’t know how much it is. I also know you can buy a season pass. I’ve heard its a nice launch and no current. I’ve seen it before when I’ve been back there flipping boat docks for bass.

Thanks guys for the help. Actually ended up on pool 2 launching under 494. We picked up 6 sauger 14 to 19 fishing 7am to 10 am. We were trolling raps. All were caught in main channel. No luck along rap or wingdams.
