We are near cresting here in the next 24 hours. Ramps is open and a couple of boats are out. Should be a go for anyone headed out.

I was last out on the 11th — it sure has changed since then!

Thought it might have been close to covering the lower lot. That is when the city usually closes the ramp. We are at 9.31 and going to 10.00. Should stay open for this flood.

We took a pile of rain today. I was planning to go out but that rain kept me back. 4 inches of rain here at the levee today.

For the time of year this is crazy high but pretty normal in the spring time. I would be surprised if they do close it down unless it goes 1.5-2 more feet and is a hazard to cross the bridge to the island. I don’t believe the launch is the concern. Lots of people use the wooden bridge to get on the island and assume that is the gauge that brings out the road closed signs. Either way if/when they do? I wouldn’t blame them….

I was out on the river yesterday. The water looks like it has dropped about 8 inches from Sunday. it was nice being out there. The fishing was slow but should get going good again now with the water dropping

Is the Hidden Harbor place still open? (Willies?) If so is it a decent place to go for food and drink on a weeknight?

The restaurant runs under Tavern 829 (after the river mile marker). To be honest I have not ate there for a few years. I would like to hear if it is good. It has always been ok. Not great but never had any bad experience either.
