What an afternoon to be on the river. Fishing was very slow until sundown, then it was pretty frantic for about half an hour. Water temp is down to 47 degrees. Met CBMN on the water and had a very nice chat.

Rootski my thoughts also. Been out 3 times the last week and I love the warm weather. I am a morning fisherman so a couple days the first couple of hours have been a little cold but it’s November and the fishing is good. Got to love it.

Nice to meet you last night also Steve…

Glad to see the fish turned on for you right after I left and I am sure I will see you out on Pool 2 again this year.

Awesome fish, Dad! What amazing weather we’re having that you can wear just a flannel shirt while out fishing!

@rootski how was the flow out there. Has it calmed down? Comparable to the flow normally for Nov?

Essentially I want you to answer in a way to convince me to go fish wing dams this week )

Heck fine Ill just go anyway, but I would still appreciate any info you would like to share ha.

Evan it’s down another foot or so compared to last weekend, much closer to normal November flows. I didn’t have any trouble setting up or anchoring anywhere I fished yesterday. A LOT LESS wood in the water compared to a week ago too. Water clarity still isn’t great, and the temp was around 47 degrees.

Great looking fish Rootski. Have to admit, wish I lived a little closer to this gem of a fishery!

It must be his lucky flannel shirt, I see he has worn a hole thru the elbow. Maybe a new one should be on his Christmas list. hint hint
