Why does everyone assume Joe caught the big one? ) LOL

I’ve caught 5 at 30″ or better over the years on P2. This one is #6 and the longest I’ve caught in a while for sure. 30’s have never been common on P2 but they have been even more rare (for me, at least) in the last several years than they used to be. I’ve never measured one at 31″ so I’m calling the 30 3/4 a tie for my longest P2 walleye. Fun to have it happen during the hog haul!

Also, thanks again to Jon Jordan for doing the work of putting this together!

    Congrats!

Joe, is that your longest p2 walleye ever?

Johns fish was the 4th longest I have seen. I have caught 2 over 31 and one that hit 32 years ago. Two of those fish were spring fish so very skinny.

Hopefully John catches this one around Christmas. Would have a chance at 13lbs.

Congrats John! I’ve caught a lot of 29″ers but never cracked 30″. I thought they all just keeled over dead at 29.75″. wink

    What did she eat?

Oooooh, forbidden question? I’m curious too lol

I think where she ate it is the forbidden question. I’d guess a big crankbait or a sucker minnow.
