Mike is there a place to dock or is it beaching on the sand? I’ve never been there that I’m aware of.

I hope to make it this year since I’ve missed the last…um 10 years or so.

There is a dock for launching and a small harbor with a dock that spans across it. Boats beach in the harbor after registrations….sand? Mississippi mud, but no rocks.

Bringing the big boat Brian?

I ran down to the river on Saturday. The water was at 67 degrees and had a lot more color than I would have guessed. Maybe 5 inches of clarity. That should clear up some by next weekend. Looks like it will be nice next weekend right now!!

Less than a week out for the contest. Looks like it’s going to be warm and Sunny for this year’s. Looking forward to getting back to pool 2 after along summer away.

Eric and I are bringing a pile of walleyes we caught yesterday to fry up after the contest.

Drew and I did a little pre-fishing yesterday. A pretty slow bite. We did manage to catch 5 walleyes with the biggest a little over 26″. Very little flow.

Count me in! This will be my first Hog Haul and I’m really looking forward to meeting a bunch of you.

Currently it will just be myself in my boat (14′ with a 9.9).

I’ll bring a bunch of venison summer sausage from Center Cut Meets, cheese, and crackers.

I’ll bring a pasta salad and some chips.

Mike, I bet if you toss up a open seat on the Mississippi forum page you might get a taker. I believe you need a partner. I could be wrong but is always nice having an extra stick in the boat. You will want a second guy either way in my opinion.

Yes you do need a second person to get in the contest. 2 or 3 person teams.
