If your referring to directly under the 10th ave bridge, a lot of snags. Never pulled a walleye out of there but have caught flatheads, carp and suckers. I fished the east side of the river and there was a pier id back my truck up onto and sit on the tailgate and cast. Police would come down at night and sometimes ask you to leave, alot of shady people at night when it warms up. Dont know if you can still fish off of it with the remodel of the Heating plant. Also there was a narrow road you could drive down right next to the SE Steam plant.
I always had better luck fishing below upper st Anthony falls for eyes. Id park in the mill ruins off of portland ave, there was a free parking lot right where id fish. But haven’t been down there in a few years and with the upper lock closed and lower lock not opened as much, I dont know what the fishing is like…
