Has anyone seen one yet? I was out yesterday near Pike Island and my neighbor’s eyes lit up, his rod doubled over, I looked back adnsay a big splash. He said he either snagged an Asian carp or we have salmon in Pool 2. We obviously didnt land it, but has anyone encountered one? The other candidate would be a huge moon eye or something.

Unless it was snagged, my money would be on a mooneye. Although there’s a pretty big difference between a Mooneye, any Asian Carp and Salmon.
The bighead that were caught on hook and line on the St Croix were snagged.
He thought he snagged it. It was only one for a few seconds but immediately jumped out of the water and he got a good look at it…from 75′ away.
