I ran into this gal trolling for walleyes yesterday. Quite a battle and I didn’t know if I could get it in the net when I finally got a chance to see what was tugging on the other end of my line! I have snagged a few buffalo this year but this one actually had the crank bait in the mouth.

39 x 28 inches – I didn’t have a scale big enough to handle that one -) Any estimates on what it may have weighed?

A quick search on the internet got me this article. I would go with 30Lbs.

One that size must really have a lot of that Buffalo slime/snot. That stuff is list rubber cement.

    PS – Nice FISH!

A grandmother made the catch of a lifetime while fishing on a Monday afternoon at Cherokee Lake in near Morristown.

Bonnie Rucker has been spending her afternoon with her husband fishing together for almost 50 years. However on that Monday afternoon It only took Rucker about 30 minutes to land the 39 inch, 31 pound Buffalo Carp.
