Pole mount recommendations for boat

My son just bought a livescope from his girlfriends dad when he upgraded. It is the ice bundle but not sure what pole it came with (not a garmin one). I have an alumacraft competitor that we would like to use the alumatrack system to make it more portable in the boat. Do I need to get a mount specific to the brand of pole or are there universal options and if so what ones should I look into? My plan is to keep everything in the case that it came in and move around the boat as needed. I currently have 3 grafts(garmin93sv,ultra106,helix 7) in the boat so I don’t want another permanent one.

Do I need a different pole for use in open water? I was hoping to use the current pole and just get a mount for it. I will try to get a picture of the pole when I get home tonight.

I have the Brew City on a cisco mount. I like it. I would think you could find something to attach to a Cisco mount that attaches to your pole. Is the pole built for open water use? The Brew City pole is designed for up to 5 mph.

You will probably want a better pole than most of the ice fishing ones. Agree the Brew City is a good mounting system. The poles for ice fishing will work but have way to much flex in them if using it moving at all.

Agreed. I went with Brew city on the boat and HD Innovations 60 inch carbon for ice. Just too much difference in usage for one to work well for my applications. The HD pole is having some kinks worked out, as owner Jason has shared, but does a nice job.

I have a Brew City 360 mount for my boat and a Clam Live Imaging Pole for ice fishing. I like them both and the Clam Live Imaging Pole is only $109.
The one thing that I did also was to put a 0 degree transducer mount on the Clam Live Imaging Pole and left the perspective mount on the Brew City 360.

I just looked at the pole. I think it’s a summit pole. Is that ok to use in open water or should I still look into the brew city?

Brew city 6 days a week and twice a day on Sundays. It’s a tank and can withstand some serious trolling speed plus allows for easy storage when running between spots.
