Will be on Pokegama the week of Labor Day…. never fished it.

Any advice as to whether a) dragging cranks, b)downriggers w/ spinners & live bait, c) jigging, d) other method might be more productive for eyes? Not sure what is working this time of year.

Appreciate it. Really looking forward to a few days away in a beautiful area.

I for one would be pulling creek chubs around out there. Jigging raps also work well.

I know you were asking about Walleye but I was out on Pokegama last night and caught some nice Pike trolling deep weed lines, mostly 18 to 24 feet of water. Always like when they smash a crank and they are fun to catch.

Appreciate the help. Good excuse to pick up a few jigging raps.

I would troll with cranks to cover water and use electronics to search for fish, marking promising spots. Then come back with live bait or jigging raps and hit areas where you marked fish.
