Plowed roads on Gull?

Thinking of trying Gull this weekend. Wondering if anyone knows if there are resorts that plow roads or if the public accesses get plowed by anyone. Would be towing up my castle so wanted to make sure I could get around. TIA

It seems like a lot of the snow this season has missed that area this winter, so I would think you should be good, but I would still confirm with a local bait shop.

True statement. I haven’t spent much time on Gull itself in the past couple weeks but travel is pretty easy around here. Especially since it’s cold there’s great traction. There are often roads from public accesses that locals make.

Ice was really struggling to build on Gull this year and get to good safe levels all over. That said this is a solid long cold snap that should really help.

Thanks guys I will of course check with a local bait shop, was hoping someone was on it recently. We are thinking about going out of the south public access.

Hey John, I actually checked out Gull out of Grand view’s access last night along with some other lakes as I wanted to get the ice house out for the weekend.

Gull had 16″ within the first 1/4 mile off of grandview, then when I got another 1/4 mile out there was only 12.5″; I like to see 14″ with our half ton and single axle house, so I turned around and checked some other lakes.

Lake travel off road was easy

Thanks Bill appreciate the info, I talked to S&W and they said reports of 13-16 inches of ice and also said travel should be pretty good with the lack of snow.

If anyone else has info on the south end of the lake that would be great to hear from you, if you prefer to pm me that is cool. Thanks guys.
