I’ve noticed the outside thumb releases(not sure what they are actually called) on the newer flip over one-man houses help aging fingers in depressing the metal (in side the pole catches) in order to fold the house down to its traveling size. Can you buy these seperately and can one retro fit them on older flip over houses?

Yes, I put some on my old Clam Shelter a couple years ago Think I might have found them at Fleet Farm. Clam has them here http://stores.clamoutdoors.com/parts/rps-push-button-small-large.html

Thank for the info GoldWinger. Neither Fleet Farm or Gander had them in their stores, but I ordered them via a local bait shop for pick up there, thus no freight.

Glad I clicked on this thread. I didn’t know they made such a thing. I’m definitely buying some.

Updated: Got them for $8.48 shipped off of the Bay.
