Has anyone ever used this product? It’s what Clam now recommends to replace the black coating that keeps flaking off the interior of their ice huts. I’m thinking about giving it a try on my Nanook.

I have used it alot , the one thing I noticed is that it does shrink/thin out some when dried /cured, that is pending how thin/thick of a coat you use.

I have never used it on a flat surface tho.

I would do a very small test area first and should be done at an interior room temp, like heated garage until dries/cures.

I use liquid electic tape and it works far better! The optimum way to apply is in summer. Set shack up on a hot sunny day. Inside all the areas of thinner coating and pinholes are easily seen. Cost wait several hours and coat again. Now you’d probably have to use a heated garage! I would not do it in your house as the smell is not the best as it dries!

I have used Plasti-Dip for rims on my truck, along with the bumpers. Amazing what this product does for the cost. I am going to spray some white inside my Otter sled to see how it will hold up this winter. Reason I am doing this is to break up the black on the tub. If I drop small jigs they are hard to find. Best thing about Plasti-Dip is if you don’t like it….peel it off.
