If you’re ever in the SW outer limits of Chicago, it’s worth checking out the Plano Outlet in Plano, Illinois.
If you’re headed there, most of the items on the outer wall or not on metal racks range from 50-70% off. They have full-retail items there too, typically the newest additions and hard-to-find specialty items. I picked up 3700 boxes for $2.99, some field boxes with a sealing o-ring for ammo at $4.99, a scoped rifle hard case for $15, and even a pile of smaller ice boxes for about a $1 each.
Just head to the factory and look for a small door on the east end of the buildings with “Outlet” marked over it. Call ahead for hours, but they were open on a Saturday!
