As the water temps drop a good hair bite should be starting soon.
There’s nothing like the feeling when a Walleye smacks a hair jig !
    Pitch with confidence fisherman !

A small mouth or white bass smacking those jigs is pretty close. Seems like the whites just turned on in the last week on the rocks.

Smallies sure liked the orange/black 1/4oz one I got from ya last week on Pool 9 tipped with a minnow… Had a bunch of small sauger and walleye on it as well, until I stuck a tree with it. After that, I did something else… as if the jigs are too good looking to lose… almost are.

Do they come with a replacement warranty? LOL

Those are some nice jigs trumar. I’m working on getting my collars compact like yours. Right now sometimes I catch myself with thread going too far down the hook shank. What do you use to put the stripes on the fur?

I will add they are the good high quality hooks us river guys look for. My rod pairs perfectly with 8# sensation, the hook will bend out of snag and reform after you reel it in. Have done it several times over and quite amazed.

I’ll bite too, my son will be home in two weeks on leave. The first thing and only thing he wants to do is fish the river again. Please let me know the price.

The same as a jig/plastic…the hook up ratio is even higher…cast across and let them swing along the bottom with a lift of the rod tip after it touches bottom…You’ll know when you get a strike…:)

Im newer to the game of hair, but I find casting more to a 45 letting it fall straight back works recently. Finding that perfect weight and buoyancy to hover above bottom they crack it good.

Seems when I’m crosscurrent on it don’t get hit as much, moving to fast

Found this one today pitching black hair shallow. 18″ and about as fat as they come.
