Pike Opener Coming Soon What Lake should I fish?

    Will not fish for Walter this opener, so I’m looking for a good lake for pike, looking for numbers mostly-oh also i want to stay away from lakes that are popular for walleys. Thanks

    Thought you had a secret little pike lake? If you are worried about crowds, go to the river, everyone else should be on the lakes. Get the graph hooked up and tested yet?

    I do have some good pike lakes in my rotation! Unfortunately they are all carry in lakes, I use a 14′ Jon boat, me and someone else will put it on potage wheels and bring it to the lake, the warden around here is helping me stay away from others so that is not an option right now. I was just on a Rum River Facebook page they said the river will be busy.
    Oh and my Humminbird! Uuuuugh! they shipped it Friday! Where is it! (today I hope)

    Good luck! I was thinking the st croix or Mississippi or Minnesota. Good luck hunting gators!

    Pike in the Minnesota? Interesting-Croix and the Mississippi will be busy for opener-Chilly temps will keep some off.
