picked up a quickfish 2 and fatfish 949 – what hole patterns are you using?

I’m sure this has been asked on here before but I’m being lazy and asking again, rather than searching… I just picked up two hubs – a QuickFish 2 and a FatFish 949. The QF-2 is for when I’m out by myself or maybe 2 of us go out. The 949 was actually a mistake-purchase (too big for most times) but I kept it anyway. So, my question – what is the hole pattern people use if fishing solo with the QF-2, 2 people with the QF-2, and 2 or 3 people with 949?

I have a fatfish 949. Do you want 2 holes inside for everyone? Then 2 guys is your maximum. 3 guys, fish some tip ups outside. I’ve tried it multiple ways and haven’t found the perfect answer. Usually I sit on a wall and have a hole in the corner. You could do that all the way around with 3 guys and leave one of the corners open for the door. With any gear, heater, minnows, flashers, etc, it’s almost impossible for 3 guys though.
