    That is NOT Nessie But That is hah peppie from lake pepin. He must have went thru the Dam when the Roller Gates were up so long.??? Maybe he was on a SPAWNING RUN.? shock … rrr

    there’s definitely some kind of lines hanging down vertically below the square bits that stick up. is it some kind of net maybe?

    Looks like docks.

    Floating docks show up in the middle of the water column like that.

    If you were near one of the bridge piers, they will show up like this. The closer you get the higher it will show up in the water column.

    This is another opportunity for a sonar lesson.

    Yes that is a row of docks and you can see there are several slips showing.

    Knowing how big those slips are and the fact that that many slips are showing up on your small screen… Here the lesson… Imagine how small a fish would look.

    Always something to keep in mind when looking for fish vs structure… Your boat speed and how it impacts the scale of objects on your depth finder.

    In the picture posted. A fish would be about the size of a pixel.
