I know there’s some golf fans scattered around here. It sure was great to see Michaelson win the PGA Championship yesterday, oldest guy to ever win a major and a class act. For me it was one of the best golf moments I’ve seen.

Yes happy for him. Having the career he’s had thought he’d never win a major.

As a golf fan and former avid player, who grew up in the 90s I watched him and cheered for him all the time… my favorites were Phil and Fred Couples. I liked Tiger as well, but always wanted Phil to beat him. Yesterday, I sat out on my patio after work and watched the back 9. I got goosebumps when he was safely on the green from the tall grass. Then again after his 2nd shot on 18. I did not think the mob scene around Tiger when he won a couple years ago for the first time after his troubles would be matched… but yesterday on the 18th fairway of the ocean course, it was. I am sure that overhead shot of the people running to the green and the crowd behind Phil will be seen on anything major championship golf related for a long, long time.

A 366 yard drive at 50 years old? That’s impressive! He has worked very hard for this win and it was well deserved.

He really has worked hard and looks like he has lost some decent weight. Seeing the crowd swarm in was pretty crazy.

he looks better now than he did at various times throughout his career for sure. 366! Pretty incredible! His swing looked powerful!

I saw an interview w/ Phil where they asked if he thought he’d play 10-15 Senior events someday, and he replied, “Maybe someday when I’m not hitting bombs!” rotflol
