Phenix Iron Feather

    Anyone use one of these, or know a place to get a hands-on look at one? I’m looking at picking up an xfast panfish rod, thinking about getting one of these. Anyone have any advice regarding other xfast ultralight options? Thanks!

    I cannot speak specifically of the Iron Feather blanks, but I can speak to the brand. Phenix is my favorite blank to build and fish. Their Ultra-MBX bass blanks are second to none. I have been considering building an Iron Feather for myself, but I don’t fish pan fish much. Hard to justify the big blank expense on a rod I know I won’t use a ton.
