Sunday was a fabulous day to be outside in MN – especially if you were lucky enough to be pheasant hunting! Billy and I enjoyed a great opening weekend of pheasant hunting with family and friends. The morning started off chilly but the sun made an appearance later in the day and several guys lost some layers around the land that we had to gather up later. There’s nothing more fun than spending time with my husband, my dad, cousins, neighbors and friends out in the wilderness chasing some pheasants and a woodcock or two! I found two fuzzy caterpillars and several grasshoppers appeared as the sun came out. It was a fantastic day.

Looks like a great time and cool pics Sharon! Even the flower one, although I can imagine someone yelling at you to stay in line and stop taking flower pics! jester

Suzuki, we were on private land.

BigWerm, some of the guys used to wonder where I wander off too at times, but now they pretty much all know I’m taking pictures of bugs, critters, flowers, etc. I may have missed a few birds over the years but as a scrapbooker – it’s worth it to be able to look back on my photo collection and reminisce. Especially of the photos of people I no longer hunt with.

No picture of the fuzzy caterpillars? Looks like Billy got the woodcock?

Bet the dogs hated it though… wink
