I used to buy either Danner or Cabelas Kangaroo leather mock toe boots for upland hunting. Great boots. Super light weight and waterproof. They offered either uninsulated or lightly insulated. Nice looking green boots.

I like the Irish Setter Elk Trackers. Have a pair of uninsulated and a pair of 600 or 800. The Danner pronghorns just didn’t fit my foot right. Had a pair of the Irish Setter Wingshooters and they just didn’t have the ankle support.

I did get a deal on a pair of uninsulated UA Brow Tines. They are a little shorter but so far so good. Like others said, It is what fits right for you.
