Commercial or open-faced sandwich… Call it what you will, but these were a big hit last night.
I had a bunch of pheasant legs + thighs in the freezer. I put them in a crock pot with a little chicken broth, cooked them till they were falling apart, and shredded them. I made gravy with the juices. Bread, mashed potatoes, shredded pheasant, and a smothering of gravy. Yum, yum, yum!
