    I’ve always kind of wanted to go to one, but never have. With the location of this years, I don’t have an excuse not to go as far as travel time and expenses. Hopefully I attend, but it may just come down to the weather. If it’s a nice and sunny 35 degrees out, chances are I’ll decide to fish instead that weekend.

    I attended the last time it was in Minneapolis. I liked it a lot! They had a “Bird Dog Parade” that was very enjoyable. Tons of vendors and neat outdoor products and services. I’ll be up there this year on Saturday, Feb. 18.

    I would have really liked to attend this, but schedule conflicts prevent it this year. Looks like an awesome event. Looking forward to reports of those that do attend.
    I think the Bird Dog Parade could probably use a Spinoni…

    Definitely, but I can’t go on Friday. I have a friend with two that is going–I need to ask him if his dogs will be in the parade.

    I have attended it in the past. It’s not to bad. My kids had a blast and the wife and I had a couple beers. So I guess you could say it ain’t to bad. They do have a decent amount of stuff for kids to do which makes it fun

    Well, the FW went on Saturday and had a good time, though beer prices were ridiculous! We sat in on an e-collar seminar that I wanted to attend, got a good price on an upland vest for the FW, chatted with the trainer we’ll be sending Ripley to, and talked with some reps. Lots of freebies, too. There were a lot of great dogs in attendance. I heard that the bird dog parade was fun. The biggest bonus was leaving the kids with Grandma and Grandpa for a few hours! We don’t get adult time often enough.

    The bird dog parade was live-streamed on the PF facebook site, and is available there now for on demand viewing, as are several other clips such as part of the “National Pheasant Summit.”

    Oh, also, I almost forgot that we saw Bud Grant there, too!
