We’ve all got em! Something small and insignificant toward life. But in the heat of battle, gets you so upset you wanna rip your nose hairs out with a pliers!!!!
Recently shopped at Cub foods and bought their in house brand of deli cheese for my work sandwiches. There’s no paper between slices! I can’t get full slices apart without butchering the whole bag! Aaaaaahhhhh!
    Got that out. All better.

unfortunately a common provlem with Cub’s presliced deli cheese… Also, they wrap it in seran wrap that compresses it all together… Wish i had a way to make it work for you but you might just have to suffer through this week and never buy Cub pre-packaged cheese ever again.

Slide a butter knife between the slices to separate them….. it works. Don’t use a sharp knife.

On a similar note, when the deli slices the lunch meat for sandwiches it is paper thin and I can’t pull off an entire slice without it tearing.

On the bright side Cub is super cheap. I find it cheaper than any other market I’ve been too. It’s even cheaper than Walmart most of the time.

I shopped at our other local grocery store the other day and was blown away. Most of the items were 20%-75% higher than Cub. If Cub has to skip the paper on your cheese to save me 50% I’m willing to let you make that sacrafice!! toast

    First world problems you say?
I hate it when the cap from the Carolans bottle doesn’t mechanically separate so the FW just sets it back on the bottle. Then when you go to grab it you end up with the cap in your hand and the bottle pouring out on the floor. bawling

By the way I don’t sit at my computer and drink while I’m on IDO. grin

For me its food packaging in general. Fat fingers dont work well for getting a lot of the packaging open. Knife it, cut it open with a scissors, get piseed off and smash it or chuck it against the wall. It gets open one way or another.

Those cheese slices urine me off to. Just skip it and buy blocks of cheese. Either way you have to cut it.

Really doesn’t matter if you cut it slice or dice it tomorrow it’s going to look like crap anyway.

So you get a extra day off a week, get to collect unemployment for that day and to really smooth things over you get an extra $600 a week? And then since that was not enough another $1200 was tossed in. I would be pissed to but Im not. Haven’t had to deal with any of that nasty extra cash or time off.

The manufacturing company I used to work for is still up 30% over last year. Said they are crazy busy.

I’ve talked with a number of other companies around the area as well, business is very strong! I hope it stays that way.

Wasn’t this post about cheese anyhow? Funny how it all ends up political.

Not sure if I could’ve worded it more humorously. Why can’t we all just laugh at the dumb things that get under our skin?

Fish blood, there’s gotta be something that gets your undies in a bunch that you realize later that it wasn’t worth it right? C’mon, group therapy! We’re here for ya! wave

Speaking of difficulty opening beers… one time I tried smacking a glass bottle top off the beer on the side of the counter like I’ve seen in movies, and I ended up breaking the bottle a little bit… glass shards landed inside my beer and I had to dump it out. 🤦‍♀️ But the top came off nicely! I honestly can’t remember whose counter top was the victim of this but the counter held up great!

You wasted a beer because of a little glass? don’t you have any coffee filters?
