Our 22 rifles went to school with us for Hunter safety in the 70’s. Figure that one out.
Not fishing, but for my college speech class a few years back I had to do a persuasive presentation. Presented on why I think Bigfoot is real. Sounds insanely stupid, I know, but my classmates absolutely loved it and I actually think I turned a few heads. Highly recommend! Might even be able to dig up the old information for ya

I agree with Capt… since some are blaming the sheer number of guns, are responsible for the violence in the USA, do a graph showing how Americans own so many more guns than other countries… and if we blame it on gun numbers, how our percentage of killings/gun in the USA are far below those countries with less guns.
Persuade people to ignore ‘analysis’ from big_g cause he has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to analyzing data.
Or persuade on the dangers of poor reading comprehension, both would be relevant!
Fertilizer run off.
I did a 30 page research paper on this topic back in college. There is surprisingly a lot of professional research and information in regards to agricultural runoff effects on lakes and rivers. It was for an Environmental Politics class, which was a crock, by the way…

Philtickleson has the best idea so far, but that might be too easy.
I suggest you pick a topic you feel strongly about and take the position that is contrary to your own beliefs. This can be a great learning exercise and is often assigned in college courses.
