Clinton Lake 11/11/06

Water temps in the lower 50’s. Shad still schooled up and the fall feeding frenzy is on. Caught crappies under the shad from 14 to 22ft. Used 1/4 oz jigs with a Crappie Pro ‘Wasshoppah’. Drop the jig to the bottom and lift 6 to 12 in up. Hold as still as you can and set the hook on any tick(bite). Also had a ‘Crappie Nibble’ for sent. It will only get better <*)}}}><

Great report, Chatt!! That’s what I’ve been doing up here in NE….you have to hold it as still as possible, and they’ll really thump it most of the time. Some of the crappie have been really fat, they are definitely eating. Keep up the good catchin!

Oh, and I GOTTA try some of those Wasshoppahs!
