Did the posts snap off or just shift? Will you have to get those all out too or just leave them?

Some snapped off at the water line, not quite sure on the others. If the snapped off ones aren’t a hazard I might leave them in and invite mahtofire over to fish Bass there. rotflol

Before I could do anything I needed to free it form the posts.
Some snapped off clean some were still hanging on.
I had to cut them off below the waterline and it wasn’t easy.
I had a couple that were freakin impossible. I tried every type off saw I had.
    Nothing.

    Just add Pontoon!

We’re back in business, a bunch of bumps and bruises but we’re back. Don’t know what I’m going to do next winter, but that’s a few Coronas from now.

That looks like a pretty sweet sledding hill in the winter, just get that platform out of the way.

EPG do you have some kind of dumbwaiter to transfer Coronas down the hill? Rope, bucket, and pulleys set up? Too many steps to chase cold ones.:???:

Well, post fire I restored the dock it sure has takin a beating in 7 years.
I lost 2 floats in the fireworks mishap, luckily I had 2 extras.
The problem yesterday was the water was very high which lifted it up on a deadhead that was left over from the ice damage 3 years ago.
I did get it over to the shore where I used a come along to elevate it enough to slide the new floats in.

Unfortunately, it is with a sad heart that I say
“this year and all future 4th of July fireworks display is cancelled” doah
