Perch

Anybody have any experience in the Fall chasing perch on Mille Lacs? I am new to the north end, but not the lake … thought that the sand may have some perch on it this Fall?!?!?!
If using crappies minnows on a Lindy … would I get pinched for fishing walleyes?

Shallow bays like isle hold perch in the fall. There is nothing illegal with targeting perch smallmouth muskie pike or other panfish as long as the respected species is open. More than likely you will accidentally catch a walleye or two. Kind of about ethics at this point if you are catching more walleye than intended species you may want moove or switch tactics.
