Heading down to Pepin saturday morning, hoping someone could fill me in on any reports or water conditions? Ive been on P2 a few times over the last week and debris has slowly been going away, just want to have a game plan prior to getting down there.

    Thanks!

Since nobody chimed in before the trip, how did you do?

It was tough. Weather im sure did not help much at all. Fished from ~7 AM – 1:30 PM. Boated a few saugers, couple sheephead and a few white bass. Fished Wisconsin side across from Hok Si Lah landing down to Maiden rock. Seemed to mark alot of fish in the 14-15 FOW range in the Maiden rock area. Dont know if those are walleyes or not but was tough to say the least. Pulled # 5 and #7 flicker shads and smash shads.

Did anyone else get out this weekend?

Took my son out Friday evening. We were pulling leeches and crawlers behind 3-way rigs and did alright. In about 4 hours of fishing, we caught maybe 20 walleye and sauger, several sheep, 1 crappie, and a few white bass. The largest walleye came in at 26 inches and just shy of 6 lbs. Otherwise, we had 3 others that hit around 17 inches. The rest were small. The leeches were hung from a Phelps style floater and the crawlers on a slow death hook. No real difference between the 2 presentations for quantity, but the leeches caught the larger fish. We trolled between 1 mph and 1.5 mph and fished the MN side around Lake City.
