pepin 9-3

I want to take my wife over to pepin this sat, she’s never been there with me. anyone have any marble-eye reports, or even water conditions would be greatly appreciated. i’ll share all info after we go.

I was there yesterday. Lots of boats out. Saw lots of techniques being tried – primarily pulling cranks and live bait rigging/jigging.

I tried both. No luck on cranks. Caught a couple nice eyes on crawlers. Not on fire for me, but have heard guys are doing ok.

Water conditions were fine for me. As always keep an eye out for debris in the water.

Monday-29:: trolling few area just got 1 sauger.! but it was fun to catch white bass.

how’d you do? looking to head there this weekend for the first time.

We went out sat 9-3 caught alot of saugers mostly small did get 3 over 15. Had plenty of sheephead and white bass too trolled raps best depth around 15 feet.

sorry guys I ended up not going, had to work instead. hopefully i’ll get out more when it starts cooling down a bit.
