heard devils lake will be up enough this year to be able to use the boat ramp at pelican again, anyone know if this is true or even an option

The forecast is for a 3-4′ rise this year, so it will probably be usable again. I have no idea whether or not they will put a dock in or not though. I believe it was put in somewhere by Minnewauken last year.

I know that’s what they are forecasting, but don’t know where all the water is going to come from.
I travel the upper basin a lot and most fields are getting pretty black already, water has been coming over the spillway at Bisbee dam for awhile now but not hard.
My uneducated guess 18″ rise by July, drop 12″ by Nov,net 6″ increase, not gonna help the ramp much. The only year we has a 4′ rise was 97 and there was a whole lot more snow and the lake was a lot smaller.

I’m looking for some info on a few things around devils lake and around town if anyone around there has time to chat.wondering if the great American hotel or the sunlac hotel are good places to stay? Or do any camper places set up and rent campers out at the lake at grahams island? would like to stay out at lake but most resorts are booked for the weeks we are looking at staying up there fishing. thanks

No campers to rent at the lake, but grahms island has 3 small cabins to rent right by boat ramp,Woodland resort rents cabins along with Spirit lake casino, but summer gets pretty busy up here and they book fast.
Lot of motels in town Davis motel one of the more popular with sportsmen, reasonable and offer kitchenette. All are pretty busy in the summer, see a Lot of boats at new sleep inn and holiday inn.
