Pecan Pie

Anyone have a good pecan pie recipe?

Yes, go to your nearest Sam’s club, they sell them at a very good price, and are pretty tasty in my book.

Big too. Can’t beat the price. $10 bucks I think.

I don’t have any recipes for pecan pie, but I’d be more than happy to taste test for you, Ralphie.

Francis makes pecan pie all the time. I think he uses the receipe off the Karo Syrup bottle. He prefers the light syrup vs. the dark syrup.

I have seen that one & tasted it……..it is pretty darn good!

When it comes to recipes, I always start with Alton Brown.

You and I are on the same page, there. AB is near-hero status in my book.

I took a stab at the Alton Brown recipe today except that I subbed in a premade crust. It seems empty, though I used a 9.5″ pie dish, as called for. Regardless, it looks tasty, and I am excited for dessert!
