    got a 14″ with 12 1/2″ girth on the Mississippi river on pool 12 sat.
    the fish hit a forage minnow with a fake minnow head. got some gills also.

    This might be the first time I’ve seen a picture that shows the true measurement to be OVER what the fisherman claims. I checked the nose and tail and it looks more like 14.5″? What a perch!!

    pics never lie. I agree it is bigger than 14.

    congrats those are sum very nice fish. im wondering how ur perch swam, sideways??? lol
