Looking for an IDO member endorsed contractor to replace my patio sliding door. I can purchase the materials. Thanks.

I’d so it through Shaw-Stewart. We did a rear french door on the house and it was good. Pricing was better than trying to source myself.

Ours was also a custom size so they covered all of it – measure, install, warranty, etc. Just dealt with them this week because the hardware has an issue and they took care of it. It’s a Marvin door.

Also interested in this topic. Mrs. Grouse declared last week that the 1970s fiberglass front door needs to get gone. Like ‘zuek, a replacement door has already been found by Her Designeness.

On the metro call Archway Contracting or Bainville exteriors. Have had work done on my house by both and they do a fabulous job.

Bob Stevermer with Custom Woodcraft. He has a custom wood shop as well. I worked for him for years and he is still a good friend to this day. High quality, detail oriented. If you want the lowest price, he’s not your guy.

The last 2 doors that we did I just used the Home Depot / Lowes installer and it worked great for us both times.
