Got a new to me boat (‘95 Pro V) a few weeks ago and working on making some mods, one of which is deleting a marine band CB antenna mounted on the starboard gunnel – what have you guys used before? I’ve got some leftover platinum patch from some aluminum siding repair on the house that I was thinking of trying – then just trying to match the paint (krylon/rustoleum?)
Also need to replace all 5 of the deck compartment pull handles. Found another thread on here that some McMaster-Carr replacements work well – wondering if just drilling out the original rivets and screwing in the new ones would work, or if they actually need to be re-riveted in.
