Some complete jackass parked right on the ramp at Everts… Should have been towed.

Was there no place to park at the bottom of the hill and was too lazy to park up top? Did you find any fish?

Ha yup. Trailer and all. Hard enough to back up in the dark on icy ramps and worry about a truck parked in the middle of the ramp

Every spot was available in front of Everts. And it wasn’t like it was midnight… it was 5 PM ????

it wouldnt be the first time someone went out alone and was excited to get out fishing and forgot to park the truck and trailer.
wonder if the keys are still in it?? I could have fun with that one!

There should’ve been plenty of room for you to back in. Maybe you should learn how to back up a trailer? I park like that sometimes when I go out in the middle of winter at night. Makes life easy. It’s not like he was parked at the dock

Yup I’m sure it makes life easy for YOU. Who cares about anyone else. Bottom line is Everts closes early now so the guy takes advantage of it.

who had the bigger truck? Ever wonder why you see a truck randomly dragged out of the way?

MSW1700, I am not sure who that was. I left a note on his windshield about 5 p.m. last night asking him not to park like that. As I was unable to maintain / salt the ramp. I am sure they expected an extremely slow night and did not see an issue with it. All is good, no harm, no foul.

Anytime you have a unhappy customer all is not good. But I see your point. It’s over & done.

right or wrong maybe the guy went for a quick boat ride testing a boat and you just happened to get there at that time? I guess I wouldn’t do it but perhaps this time of year and with the holidays coming up, he probably did not think there would be much traffic. Or maybe the guy thinks he is better than everyone else?

Hopefully it’s gone now? I’d be worried the guy slipped and fell in, possibly hitting his head. You hear of it now and then at landings. Just saw a news article a week or two ago of a guy drowning that way, forget where it happened.

The back channel ramp will have a bubbler running again this winter.! . An there is way more parking spots at the back channel ramp then any other launch in the area. . RRR
