So I got tickets to the AC/DC concert Thursday night, we’re staying out in Plymouth. What is our best bet for a route in and out of the stadium? How about parking, doesn’t look like there’s really an abundance of it around the stadium.
Any suggestions for places to eat before the show in the area?

The stadium is pretty easy in and out. Lots of parking ramps within a few blocks, couple flat lots towards hcmc. Cuzzys has great burgers and bar food. Fuzzys has excellent tacos and burritos.

What’s most remarkable is that ac/dc are still touring. Brian Johnson and Angus young must be making a killing.

Kind of weird when you think about it. Time to give it up, folks. Watching bands like Tool still keep going adds to it. Like, you’re tarnishing your repertoire… everybody gets old.

Anyways, it’s cool for the people that never got to see them live, because now they can say they’ve seen them.

Edit: not much sense made. Hopefully ya feel me. I was born too late to see most of the bands I like in their prime. But that’s just facts. At least i have YouTube. Don’t tarnish your name.

I usually park at either the Jerry Haff ramp on 4th St or Gateway ramp on 3rd St – both are municipal parking ramps about 3 blocks away from the stadium.

Straight shot in and out when coming from the west metro but the roads in/out are busy so you’ll need some patience, especially after the show. Hope this helps, good luck.

I have coworkers that go to the stadium a lot and they say to use the HCMC ramp.

From Plymouth I’d look at taking an Uber, Twins have a day game as well if you are looking at heading down there early. Although I’m not sure if the Twins will have enough fans to impact parking/traffic.

Park out of downtown along the light rail line. Jump on train. You get dropped off/picked up right in front of US Bank stadium. Easy and cheap.

I’m interested in this, where do I find where the light rail terminals are? How late do the trains run so if we want to hit a pub for a few after the concert we don’t miss the last train and end up stuck…

    Appreciate all the info!

I really have no idea how many times I’ve seen them, the first time was in ’82 for the For those about to rock album… I don’t expect their best show but unfortunately it will probably be their last tour so I’m making the trip to see them once more. I’m sure it will still be an excellent show.

You can just google Light Rail Minneapolis and it will take you to the website. All the lines end/start in DT MSP and go south or east, so you’d need to drive past MSP to do that from Plymouth.

Light rail is a great way to go. Some bars also have park and rides for major concerts
