    looking to go up there next week. any lakes that are really popin off

    Hey Josh. Just wondering on what you found out in that area? I plan on going that way early January. How was the ice, and any lakes you would recommend? Must be someone fishing this area that has has some input?

    I was in Park Rapids 12/23-12/27. We had 9-10 inches of ice. Fished 18-24 feet and had good pike action jigging big spoons during the day. Caught one nice walleye after dark on a tip up.
